Curcuma (auch Kurkuma) wird in der Ayurveda der traditionellen indischen Heilkunst seit Jahrtausenden vielseitig verwendet. Die ätherischen Öle der Wurzel werden in der „Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India“ als Mittel für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungsgebieten gelistet.

Die synergistische Wirkung des Curcuminoid-Komplexes, den wir im YPSI CurcuminKomplex verwenden, beruht auf dem Zusammenwirken von Curcuminoiden und Tumeronen. Curcumin, Desmethoxycurcumin, Bisdesmethoxcurcumin sowie Ar-Tumeron stellen die aktiven Bestandteile der Curcuma-Wurzel. 

Hergestellt wird dieser Curcuminoid-Komplex von einem Weltmarktführer aus Kerala, Indien mit einer patentierten Technologie, die nicht nur einen sehr gut bioverfügbaren, sondern insbesondere auch einen hoch bioaktiven Curcuma-Extrakt mit 95% Curcuminoiden ermöglicht.
